The 2014 medical form is needed for all scout and adult troop members.  If you are going to summer camp or any activity greater than 72 hours then the physical is needed as well (part C.)  Thanks to Mr. Bill Tingler for being our chief surgeon this year.  We would like to collect these for out Troop binder prior to summer camp, and a second copy would really be nice.  Don't forget that without a fully completed medical form you cannot be admitted to summer camp.  Some guys may be able to get part C done with their sports physicals but whatever it takes, a physical is mandatory.  Please remember to include a copy of your insurance card for us.  Summer camp payments should be going to Mr. Arnold.

One of the premier training opportunities for adults to hone leadership skills is coming up soon.  WOOD BADGE is an extensive two-weekend training that helps to teach various leadership concepts used in different settings.  The only prerequisites are to be registered with BSA, have completed Basic Training (Fast Start, New Leader Essentials or This is Scouting) for your registered Scouting position, and to be capable of functioning safely in an outdoor environment and have completed a BSA medical form in the past year.
The weekends are: Friday-Sunday, April 25-27 at Claytor Lake Aquatics Base; and Friday-Sunday, May 16-18 at Camp Powhatan.  For more information, go to https://bsa-brmc.org/calendar or contact Tom Magri at 772-6683.

Buffalo Wild Wings is excited to be supporting Scouting! We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy an evening out with the family and show your support for their efforts.
Please plan to join us, and share the coupons with family, friends, and your Scouting units!
There is a 20 mile hike on April 5 but you must have done a 10 miler previously to go on this hike.  As always, check the troop website calendar often.
There will be a Court of Honor in late April or early May.  If you think you are about ready for rank advancement, please start the ball rolling.  The cutoff to complete advancement is April 14 so action is needed on your part as soon as possible; please see Mr. Snebold when you are ready for this.  If you want to check your records concerning advancement, reply here to Mr. Reyer.
